INASMUCH Church Operations

- Each Church is responsible for delivering a food item each month to
the location of the trailer. Currently we have one trailer located at
Southeast Baptist Church on Liberty Rd.
- The item is to be delivered no later than 12:00 noon on the Friday
before the delivery. The trailer can be picked up that afternoon by the
respective host church.
- Each new church or organization which joins the Inasmuch Ministry is
asked to go on at least two deliveries before taking on the responsibility
of being a host church for delivery. It is best to meet at the home site
to which the delivery is taken.
- Each church will be provided a list of home sites and directions to
the site.
- Each church will be provided the telephone numbers for the resident
managers at each home site.
- If a church provides clothes, these clothes must be seasonal. No
clothes should be accepted that you would not immediately wear. These
clothes must be clean. They must be packed in boxes before taken to the
trailer.
- Each church will commit to helping with all fund-raising projects held
by Inasmuch. This means sending volunteers to work and or providing means
necessary to carry out the project.
- Each church will send representatives to the steering committee
meeting once a month, usually the 1st Wednesday of each month. A list of
names and addresses appears in this packet.
- Do not leave extra bags at the home site. Bags not picked up should be
returned to the trailer. GHA will pick them up the following week for
delivery to other needy families.
- Each church will take brochures to the home site managers office the
week prior to delivery. These brochures must look neat and be well done.
If these brochures are not taken the week prior, food delivery is very
difficult the next week. (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO DO)
